employees of CDM and UMKC come together to install plants for the rain garden. This rain garden was installed before I came to UMKC, it is my pleasure to care for it. I will soon have current pics of what it looks like now.

These are some pictures of one of the three of our rain gardens here on campus. This is part of Kansas City, Missouris 10,000 rain garden initiative. This rain garden was installed a couple of years ago. UMKC and CDM and a whole bunch of volunteers installed this rain garden.

Ball Seed Petunias

I was talking to a rep from The Great Company Ball Seed in West Chicago Il. yesterday when I was at the Western Nurserymans Conference in Overland Park KS. I was telling him about the petunias that they so kindly helped us out with. While it was a horrible year for petunias this was the hight of there glory for the year.

I am at the Western Nursery and Landscape Association Conference. It seems like the speakers are alot better this year and its not the same old thing
